                                                                                                                               FIFTY (50) PARTICIPANTS OF 2019 CLASS OF POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN PAEDIATRIC NUTRITION (PGPN) GRADUATE IN GHANA

 

The PGPN, an educational initiative offered by Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) in partnership with MedInscribe and supported by Nestlé Nutrition Institute has continued to add value globally and further building the nutrition knowledge of Health Care Professionals.

 

The fourth edition of PGPN graduation for coastal region (Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone) took place in Ghana on 13th February 2020 at Fiesta Royale Hotel Ghana.

 

PGPN, online training delivered through modules, keeping in view nutritional challenges and education needs of the Health Care Professionals, offers a scientific platform with unique opportunity for busy healthcare professionals. The graduation offered participants opportunity for a face-to-face workshop with BUSM faculty and local Key opinion leaders. The rating of the training by participants in terms of its content and relevance to their practice is encouraging.  The occasion was chaired by Prof. Agyeman Badu-Akosa (Former Head-Ghana Health Service, Nutrition Advocate & Consultant-Ghana Standards Authority), while Dr. Clifford Lo of BUSM and Dr Gloria Otoo of University of Ghana were part of the resource. Certificate of Completion was awarded to each of the participants.
